From today, the total outdoor water ban can be eased in Featherston and Greytown. Thanks to the response from the community, the two towns are now in a space to move down restriction level and can water gardens using handheld methods.

This restriction allows for the use of handheld watering methods, between the hours of 6-8 am and 7-9pm only on alternate days according to your house number.
– odd-numbered houses on odd dates (1st, 3rd, 15th etc)
– even-numbered houses on even dates (2nd, 4th, 18th etc)
Leaks in our system can be an issue, so please check your water meter.
