Roads throughout Martinborough will be closed for the Martinborough Fair on two days: Saturday 1 February 2025 and Saturday 1 March 2025.

There are no postponement dates for these events. If they are unable to proceed, they will be cancelled for the year.

South Wairarapa District Council road closures, including the intersections listed below, are being applied for, as marked on the diagram below.

This road closure application is for both Saturday 1 February 2025 and Saturday 1 March 2025 and impacts the following streets:

• The Square in Martinborough, also known as Memorial Square
• Kansas Street between The Square and Strasbourge Street intersection
• Cambridge Street between The Square and Strasbourge Street intersection
• Texas Street- Between The Square and Strasbourge Street intersection
• Oxford Street between The Square and Cork Street intersection
• Kansas Street between The Square and Naples Street intersection
• Jellicoe Street between The Square and Naples Street intersection
• Texas Street between The Square and Naples Street intersection.
  
  The time of road closures will be from 4am to 6.30pm.
• State Highway 53 will be closed from Kitchener St) between The Square and Ohio Street intersection.

  Detour details are outlined on the map below and include Kitchener Street at the entrance to Martinborough village – turn right onto Ohio Street, left onto Naples Street, right onto Jellicoe Street and roads that go out of Martinborough.
