Travellers please note that the Waihenga bridge is likely to reach 4.2m by 9.30pm tonight and the Huangarua River is rising, with a potential impact on the Ponatahi bridge.
These are in addition to the delays a massive slip on Remutaka Hill is posing for travellers.
We will bring you updates as we get those from Waka Kotahi.

Note that the Waihenga bridge is generally closed when river level reaches 4.5m.
