MANAGER – CORPORATE SUPPORT

The Manager, Corporate Support has responsibility for the efficient and effective management of the day to day operations of the team. The portfolio includes People and Culture, Health, Safety and Wellbeing, Executive support, Emergency Management, Information Management, IT, Legal and Customer Services. The role also carries with it an expectation to be trained in and to occasionally undertake the Alternate Controller function as part of our joint emergency management obligations across the three Wairarapa councils.

MANAGER – STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIPS

The Manager, Stakeholder Relationships has responsibility for the efficient and effective management of the day to day operations of the team. The portfolio includes Policy, Democracy Services, Community Development and Communications. You will be a seasoned people leader who can translate strategy into action for their team.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

The Chief Financial Officer is seen as a trusted advisor to the Chief Executive, the Strategic Leadership Team and to Elected Members. You must be confident and comfortable in fronting formal Council meetings alongside the CEO on issues relating to the financial performance of Council operations. On invitation, you will also be asked to attend Strategic Leadership Team meetings to contribute to discussions. You will contribute to, and when appropriate, lead, key Council deliverables such as Audit, Annual Report and the Annual and Long Term Plans.
